Broadband Operators

Turn Your Broadband Network Into a Real-Time Application and Revenue Platform.

Join the Federation, differentiate through performance, deploy FGN Solutions and participate in new commercial opportunities while retaining your brand, customers and local operational independence.

What FGN means for an independent operator

Your network. Your customers. A larger opportunity.

Operators keep their brand, subscribers and local responsibility. FGN adds the Federation environment, Performance Intelligence, Solutions and partner opportunity that a single network would find difficult and costly to develop alone.

How value reaches the local market

From the community you already serve, back to the community you already serve.

Each stage below is somewhere the operator stays present. Nothing in the path replaces the local relationship.

Who is involved along the path

  • Community and subscribersThe people the operator already serves in its own service area.
  • The operatorLocal brand, customer relationship and network responsibility.
  • Federation and Performance IntelligenceShared reach across participating networks and observation of path conditions.
  • FGN SolutionsThe three real-time Solutions delivered through operator markets.
  1. Community and subscribers

The community the operator already serves

Subscribers, schools, employers and local organizations are already on the operator network every day.

  2. The operator

    The operator access network

The local access network and headend or edge environment stay under the operator's control and brand.

  3. Federation and Performance Intelligence

    Federation participation

Participating networks create more than one way to reach the destinations that real-time applications depend on.

  4. Federation and Performance Intelligence

    Performance Intelligence

Latency, jitter and packet loss are observed across available paths so path selection reflects current conditions.

  5. FGN Solutions

    Solutions in the local market

Gaming, Simulation Skills Challenges and AI Inference Performance run in the operator's own market rather than around it.

  6. Community and subscribers

    A measurable local result

Engagement, participation and commercial outcomes are measured against what was agreed in the deployment plan.

Partnership and deployment journey

From fit assessment to activated opportunity.

  • Assess

Review service area, subscriber base, headend or edge environment and business objectives.

  • Design

Define connection, security, data, measurement and commercial scope.

  • Connect

Provision the agreed service environment and federation participation.

  • Validate

Test the technical and business assumptions against the deployment plan.

  • Activate

Launch the selected Solution, pilot or partner service and measure the result.

Operator control and FGN support

Your network. Your customers. A larger opportunity.

The operator retains its brand, customer relationship, and local network responsibility. FGN provides the Federation environment, Performance Intelligence, selected Solutions, and the ecosystem support required for the agreed deployment.

  • The Operator Brings

Local brand and customer relationship, access network and headend environment, community reach, operational knowledge, and customer communication.

  • FGN Brings

Federation participation, Performance Intelligence, FGN Solutions, program management, and Marketplace and partner opportunities as available.

  • Together

The operator and FGN define the deployment, responsibilities, security model, customer experience, measurement plan, and commercial structure.

Where activation becomes measurable

Reach that can be activated and measured.

FGN works with each operator to identify the communities, subscribers, applications, and business objectives within the partnership scope.

  • Network Footprint

    Where services can be offered

Use verified operator and deployment data to define where services can be offered.

  • Customer Experience

    What to measure

Measure relevant performance, adoption, engagement, or program outcomes.

  • Commercial Opportunity

    Model, then measure

Build models from agreed assumptions, then replace projections with achieved results as evidence becomes available.

Network Partnership Assessment

Share the footprint, objectives, infrastructure and timeline.

The assessment captures the organization, service area, subscriber scale, network environment, desired Solutions, current priorities and timing.

What does not change

Joining the Federation does not hand over the local relationship.

Federation participation is additive. The operator continues to run its own business in its own market.

The brand
The operator remains the name in front of the community and the customer relationship.
The subscribers
Customer ownership, billing and service relationships stay with the operator.
The network
Local network responsibility and operational decisions remain with the operator.
The market presence
Programs run in the operator's own service area, with the operator visible in them.

Frequently asked

Straight answers.

  • What does FGN deploy at the operator network?

FGN interconnects at the headend or edge through an FGN-provided service environment. The exact architecture is defined with each operator rather than a single mandatory design.

  • Does the operator lose the customer relationship?

No. Participating operators retain their brand and customer relationship, subject to the commercial and technical agreement.

  • Is new revenue guaranteed?

No. FGN creates new revenue opportunities through applications, programs, Marketplace services, and partner activity. Financial models are shown with their assumptions and are updated with actual results as programs progress.
